Our Story ~

Circa 1983, I attended my first Rib Cook-Off. The ribs were great, but oh the varieties of sauce. There were spicy sauces, smoky sauces, and sauces with just the right amount of sweet. It was then I had my BBQ Sauce Epiphany. I did not realize it at the time but, I was embarking on a decades-long journey innovating, tweaking, and perfecting my small, hand-batch, Sauces & Seasonings.

Fast forward, a loved one was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s dementia. I needed a way to have the flexibility of hours to provide personal care yet maintain an income. With encouragement from family & friends, the Indigo Lake Sauce Company was established. We are privileged to share our Sauces and Seasonings with you.

In appreciation, a portion of all sales are donated to the

Grilled Shrimp with
Peach Reposado Tequila Sauce

Lightly oil grill grate. Cook shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or just until opaque. Transfer to a serving dish, brush with

Peach Reposado Tequila Sauce.

Dust with Mango Chipotle Rub to spice it up a bit.
